Fawkner Primary School

In collaboration with AOA Christopher Peck, we are thrilled to announce that we have completed our first VSBA project at Fawkner Primary School. The project included the construction of a new administration building, the demolition of the existing administration building and classrooms, and the subsequent construction of new classrooms.

The highlight of the project is the successful completion of a new 1000m² under-roof classroom building. This remarkable structure, featuring steel and timber framing clad with a combination of brick veneer, Colorbond, and Vitradual cladding, was skilfully constructed within an incredible 7-month timeframe – an outstanding accomplishment for our dedicated team.

The internal fit-out posed challenges, involving varied ceiling rakes, which were lined with perforated plasterboard. Additionally, it included the integration of timber-laminate wall panelling and plasterboard walls, resulting in aesthetically pleasing and free-flowing spaces.
